Harvest House Tennis Under New Management!
We are excited to announce that effective May 1st, Rocky Mountain Tennis Center has assumed management of the Harvest House Tennis club under a contract with the Millennium Harvest House. With the exception of the pool facilities, RMTC will be responsible for all areas of club operations including membership relations, pro shop staffing and sales, lesson programming and maintenance of the tennis facilities and will be led by Duke Paluch as Club Manager, Kendall Chitambar as Director of Tennis, and Donna Chitambar as Director of Operations. All current staff at Harvest House, teaching professionals and pro shop staff, will continue with us as we move forward.
This management agreement was finalized very suddenly and did not allow for sufficient planning for the transition. We are asking for your patience as we move forward with new management systems, club software, and tennis programs. Members will continue to make reservations through the Harvest House website while Pro shop and staff phone numbers remain the same. There will not be any interruptions in court reservations, league play, clinics etc. Membership dues are the same as those charged by the Harvest House. Members will be asked to sign a new membership agreement, which will be provided within the next few days and will include a new liability disclaimer and billing information.
We at RMTC think our members will be delighted to know that as part of the management agreement, RMTC will be working with the Millennium Hotel to make considerable improvements to the tennis facilities! In May, we plan to repair the court cracks and resurface courts 8 through 12 similar to the last years resurfacing of courts 3-7. We plan to remodel the pro shop area and add new member services. We will be repairing the sidewalks around the pro shop and adding new landscaping. Our goal is to create a revitalized atmosphere for all our members and to bring a new ambiance to the club.
RMTC is also planning to open a new tennis club in Louisville at the end of this year. While there will be a coordinated effort to create great relationships between the two clubs, the Louisville location will be a separately owned and managed facilities, and we do not have a plan for reciprocal privileges at this time.
We greatly appreciate your support and suggestions as we move forward to an exciting period of change and improvement.
